Varun: Salman Wasn't Worried
The Kick star looked calm when he met the ABCD2 actor a day before his High Court hearing
Only 4 films old in the industry, Varun Dhawan is already a star in his own right. However, the actor doesn’t take his star status too seriously.
When SpotboyE.com asked him whether he enjoys the stardom, the actor modestly said, “Im still in the nascent stages. Stardom is what the likes of Salman bhai enjoy. You know, when I went to meet him at his place, I couldnt get inside his building for a long time because it was thronged by fans. Hundreds of people were standing outside his building for hours to catch a glimpse of him. That is what you call stardom.”
Of course, we couldnt resist asking Varun how his interaction with Salman Khan went. After all, the Kick actor was going through a low phase after he was convicted by the Sessions Court in the 2002 hit-&-run case. Varun went to meet him a day before the High Court hearing on May 8.
Was he worried? No, he wasnt worried, said Varun.
Salmans next hearing is on July 11 in Mumbai.
